Tenant onboarding, cut by a third before automation.
The situation
Opening a store meant twelve manual forms, drawing submissions that bounced back repeatedly, and reviews that ran one after another. Thorough, but slow, and every resubmission cost the tenant weeks.
What changed
Value stream workshops with the business and IT teams. Steps that existed for comfort rather than control were removed. Reviews became parallel. Requirements were published upfront so tenants filed complete packages the first time. Inspectors got tablets and standardized checklists.
The result
48 steps became 33 and twelve forms became two, with no automation at all. The tenant portal that followed was built on the cleaned process.
